CALLAGHAN is a brand with over 40 years of history and is part of the Hergar Group, founded by Basilio Garcia. It was created from the merger of the Tanke and Garca brands in 1987.
From its beginnings, it was a pioneer in the introduction of new technologies such as the Nautical Over, the first boat shoe with an air chamber and cushioning system, or the 100% recyclable boots. In 2004, it launched its Callaghan Adaptation system, a technology that allows the shoe to adapt to each type of foot and its size changes, which has helped it establish itself in different international markets.
